I am Jo Gore and JoGoTherapy is my therapy and supervision practice. I am found in Ultimo in the Harris Centre on Quarry St which, rather than being a street, is a remarkably serene Green on the edge of Darling Harbour which sports 2 cafes, a pub and a church.
My two main passions are helping people find ways to be in the world that supports their ongoing wellbeing, whether in the therapy or supervision space; and working with adoptive families building attachment with their children and developing therapeutic parenting.
Trauma is a particular focus of mine. Those who have experienced trauma as children or in adulthood need someone to walk beside them in the deep places offering a calm, compassionate and courageous presence.
I offer supervision for therapists, social workers, religious and other practitioners. The supervision I offer is reflective and explorational which can have a healing effect.
